The Florida Joint Replacement Center was opened in 1990, to provide specialized care for patients needing joint surgery. This dedicated unit within the hospital is designed to create an atmosphere conducive to quality care and extremely high levels of patient satisfaction. The entire staff is specially trained to care for patients undergoing joint surgery, and their goal is to have you back enjoying your favorite activities as soon as possible.
 
Once in the Florida Joint Replacement Center, you will notice that things are much different here than in a typical hospital. The focus here is wellness - you will be wearing your own clothes rather than patient gowns, and exercise classes are done in groups to encourage a little friendly chat as well as competition. Along the way you will encounter a few pleasant surprises all designed to make your stay with us a special one. We provide a number of unique services to our patients. A family member is welcome to “room in” at no charge. The “Healthy Joint Oasis” lounge is available for patients and families to socialize, play cards, or watch movies on the big screen TV.
